Maxine says it all. WOW. My first holiday season as a business. A very trying time indeed. Trying to manage 2 different stores during the Holiday season has been a learning experience to say the least. And when everything is made to order, the processing time is lengthened. It is a learning experience and can only get better from here. I love working in the comforts of my own home, but I sometimes wonder if it wouldn't be easier working away from home, where my shirttail isn't tugged on every 2 seconds wanting another cracker or drink. Or trying to sew with a 20 month old sitting in my lap. But I wouldn't take anything for being at home with my children. It's just trying at times, especially when I have many many orders to get out before Christmas. I have nothing to complain about, and please don't think I'm complaining. I am so fortunate and blessed to have a happy, healthy family that I will get to spend the Holidays with. I just want to be the best I can be: as a wife, mother and business owner (I guess that's what I would consider myself?)
I am shooting toward having all orders out by the end of next week. So if any of my customers are reading this, know that your order is coming, and I am working hard in getting those out ASAP!!! Thanks to all of my wonderful customers for being patient with me!
